Single-Bud Expression Analysis of Bud Dormancy Factors in Peach

چکیده
Transcriptomic and gene expression analysis have greatly facilitated the identification characterization of transcriptional regulatory factors effectors involved in dormancy progression other physiological processes orchestrated during bud development peach temperate fruit species. Gene measurements are most usually based on average values from several or many individual buds. We performed single-bud flower buds across release using amplicons master DORMANCY-ASSOCIATED MADS-BOX (DAM) factors, jasmonic acid biosynthetic genes, genes related to flowering development, cell growth resumption, abiotic stress tolerance. This provides a close view gene-specific, variability throughout developmental shift dormant dormancy-released stages, contributing putative co-expression modules aspects this particular tissue.

Expression of ABA Metabolism-Related Genes Suggests Similarities and Differences Between Seed Dormancy and Bud Dormancy of Peach (Prunus persica)
Dormancy inhibits seed and bud growth of perennial plants until the environmental conditions are optimal for survival. Previous studies indicated that certain co-regulation pathways exist in seed and bud dormancy. In our study, we found that seed and bud dormancy are similar to some extent but show different reactions to chemical treatments that induce breaking of dormancy. Whether the abscisic...
متن کاملBiochemical Studies of Bud Dormancy in Tanweed.
By definition, a dormant vegetative bud is viable but it fails to grow when subjected to environmental conditions normally favorable for growth. An understanding of the biochemistry of dormant and active buds is needed to serve as a basis for solving the problem of artificially breaking or inducing bud dormancy. The present study was conducted with the aim of adding to existing knowledge concer...
متن کاملChilling-Dependent Release of Seed and Bud Dormancy in Peach Associates to Common Changes in Gene Expression
Reproductive meristems and embryos display dormancy mechanisms in specialized structures named respectively buds and seeds that arrest the growth of perennial plants until environmental conditions are optimal for survival. Dormancy shows common physiological features in buds and seeds. A genotype-specific period of chilling is usually required to release dormancy by molecular mechanisms that ar...
متن کاملEpigenetic regulation of bud dormancy events in perennial plants
Release of bud dormancy in perennial plants resembles vernalization in Arabidopsis thaliana and cereals. In both cases, a certain period of chilling is required for accomplishing the reproductive phase, and several transcription factors with the MADS-box domain perform a central regulatory role in these processes. The expression of DORMANCY-ASSOCIATED MADS-box (DAM)-related genes has been found...
متن کاملSupercooling Characteristics of Isolated Peach Flower Bud Primordia1
The amount of unfrozen water in dormant peach (Prunus persica [L.] Batsch, cv Redhaven) flower buds, isolated primordia, and bud axes was determined during freezing using pulse nuclear magnetic resonance methods. Differential thermal analysis studies were conducted on whole buds and isolated primordia in the presence of ice nucleation. The results showed that some of the water in isolated primo...
